A Bryant & May advertising match striker/holder.  Circa 1900.  Pottery and quite heavy.  There is a small chip at the bottom of one side and one on the bottom - these can be seen from the photos.   Advertising 'Club Matches'.   The base is stamped  "With Bryant & May's Compliments"
