Fantastic vintage 1950's/60's illuminated "Emergency Exit" sign!  By Linolite.  Painted steel tubes at top and bottom.  I have not had this rewired but this could easily be done.  The end caps on the main cylinder pull out slightly to allow removal of the side plates for maintenance and bulb replacement, there are two bakelite small bayonet cap lamp holders in the top.

Heavy glass plate has a polished edge and is deeply engraved
