I spend lots of my time trawling around antique fairs and shops, both in the UK and France, to try and find individual pieces that will suit most interiors. I only buy items I love and sometimes have difficulty in parting with them! My stock generally ranges from early 19th Century decorative painted furniture, foxed gilt mirrors and antique lighting through to mid-century pieces. I like an eclectic mix to create a more interesting and individual style.
I have been based at Bayfield Hall Antiques & Interiors (NR25 7JN) near Holt in North Norfolk for twelve years now. Bayfield Hall is an elegant country house set in wonderful parkland and our antiques & interiors shop is set just behind it. Do come and visit! We are open Wednesdays to Sundays from 10am to 5pm. Alternatively, I have some stock at home which can be viewed by appointment - just text or give me a call.
I am currently taking part in The Bidding Room on BBC1 which is hosted by Nigel Havers - good fun - do watch!!
