Two prints drawn and lithographed by John Gould (1804-1881) and printed by Hullmandel in later (but not new) gilt frames depicting a yellow rosella (Platycercus Flaveolus) which is a parrot indigenous to Australia and a Cuban Trogon (Trogon Temnurus).
John Gould was an English ornithologist and became the leading publisher of ornithological illustrations in Victorian Britain, creating over three thousand plates of birds in more than forty volumes.
